Tulip Cardigan Kits
Made famous (twice) by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee in the Yarn Harlot,
the Tulip sweater is one of the most popular hand knit items
in the knitting world. The Blastoff sweater is very similar
to the Tulip
Cardigan (see detailed specifications below).
Our kits are made with Dream in
Color Classy, hand dyed 100% Superwash Merino.
The kits are available in a wide range of colors and sizes.

The Tulip Cardigan sweater consists of eight stripes of color. It has a seed stitch border that is finished with an I-cord bind off. The neck is an I-cord edging and tie. Directions for making the sweater with buttons instead of the tie are included (especially good for older kids and boys).

Blastoff Cardigan Specifications
The Blastoff Cardigan is often referred to on Ravelry and other sites as the Rocketry sweater. Our pattern, written by Carri Hammett, made some enhancementsto the original; hence the name change. The BlastoffCardigan has six stripes. It has a ribbed
